John Burke, 66, of Beaverton passed away on Friday, June 4, 2021 at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor. He was born November 27, 1954, the son of William and Hazel (Hoxey) Burke Jr. in Midland. John was a skilled farmer and an avid pilot. He enjoyed flight instructing and was a self-taught electric guitar player. He loved hosting Saturday night suppers for the family. He was most proud of restoring the family home and in 2011 the Asch Farm became Asch Centennial Farm.

He is survived by his 3 sisters: Kathleen (Jack) Harrison of Carrollton, TX, Brenda (David) Garver of Farwell, and Laurie Burke of Ithaca. He is also survived by his 6 nieces and nephews and 9 great nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his son: Alex, his parents, and his brother William Andrew Jr. "Billy".

Visitation for John will be held from 4-8pm at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home-Beaverton on Thursday, June 10. A Service will also be taking place on Friday, June 11, at 1pm at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home-Beaverton with a burial taking place immediately after at Dale Cemetery.
