Robert G. "Bobby" Fry, 72, died of natural causes, June 6, 2021 in his Exeter Township residence.
He was the husband of Cathy J. (Riegel) Fry, whom he married March 1, 1969.
Born in Exeter Township, PA on May 18, 1949, he was a son of the late R. Norman Fry and Doris Mae (Bordner) Fry.
Robert was a graduate of Exeter Township High School.
He was employed for 20 years with Firestone Tire & Rubber and was later employed a number of years as a manager with Bachman's Pretzel.
Robert was last employed with M.J. Earl, Reading as a warehouse manager before retiring in 2014.
He was an avid golfer and even had a hole-in-one at Green Hills Golf Course.
Robert loved going to his grandchildren's sporting events, snacking, and riding his Harley-Davidson.
He is survived by two children: Bradley G., husband of Jennifer (Miller) Fry of Chandler, Arizona; and Brent J. "B.J.", husband of Julie (Weller) Fry, of Spring Township.
Robert was affectionally know as Pop-Pop to five grandchildren: Payton K., Kylie A., Ethan J., Matthew G., and Katie L. Fry.
He is also survived by five siblings: Richard N., husband of Dorothea (Wagner) Fry of Cumru Township; William K., husband of Andrea (Kerper) Fry of Exeter Township; Keith L. Fry of Exeter Township; Lee J. Fry of Reading; and Donna (Fry) Hoover of Highpoint, North Carolina.
Robert was predeceased by three siblings: Ronald N. Fry, Herman J. Fry, and Doris Ann Loness.
Services will be private.
Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township.
