Gloria was a very sweet and loving woman who lived a good life. She enjoyed fishing, sewing, and spending time with her family. She was also enjoyed bargain shopping at thrift stores. There is no question that she could turn old things into new treasures. She loved nurturing and caring for people and was a mother figure to many.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Regina Peak of Waukegan, Illinois; Vincent Peak of St. Cloud, Minnesota; Tracie (Walter) Robertson Jr. and Dwayne Peak of Zion, Illinois. Brothers and sisters, Bobby (Pat) Starks, Jr., Patricia Brown, Jimmy (Frenchie) Starks, Larry Starks, Gary Starks, Betty (Jesus) Flores, Darryl Mims, Kathryn Starks, Lorraine Starks, Rodney Mims, Jason Boze, and Damon Reed; 24 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Robert W., Sr. and Libby E. Starks as well as her son, David Peak and brother, David Mims.
