Mary Jane Lyons, 84, of Edmond, OK was born January 24, 1937 to Buford and Marie (Lewallen) Cloar in Hobart, OK. She passed away on June 5, 2021, after a courageous battle with Cancer.

Jane finished high school in Hobart before attending Oklahoma College for Women in Chickasha, OK where she studied Music and Fashion.

Jane had various vocations in her life. She worked in banking for about a decade and then later worked in Women's Retail Fashion with various companies, finishing her full-time career with Talbots in 2009. After retiring, she worked part-time for Chico's until her late 70's.

Jane loved her family and friends. Time spent with both were among the treasures of her life. A lot of wonderful memories were made on vacations with her family, especially in Branson, MO and Myrtle Beach, SC. Jane was an avid baseball and basketball fan. She was content watching just about any two teams play, but her favorite teams through the years were the Tom Seaver's NY Mets, the Texas Rangers, and of course, the Oklahoma City Thunder. She could always hold her own in a sports conversation with her grandsons.

Jane was preceded in death by her father, Buford L. Cloar; her mother, Marie Cloar; and her oldest son, David F. Lyons.

Jane is survived by her son, Doug Lyons and his wife, Stacy, of Yukon, OK; her daughter, Cathy Karry and her husband, Patrick, of Edmond, OK; 9 grandchildren, Drew Lyons and wife, Emily, of New Cumberland, PA, Cristin Goss and husband, Derek, of Whitehall, PA, Matthew Karry of Edmond, OK, Scott Karry of Edmond, OK, Joseph Karry of Edmond, OK, Bailey Lyons of Yukon, OK, Katherine Watts and husband, Aaron, of Yukon, OK; Sierra Nguyen and husband, John, of Yukon, OK; Samantha Morgan of Yukon, OK; 8 great-grandchildren; and brother, Paul Cloar and wife, Linda, of Oklahoma City.
