Funeral Service for Michael Joe Ray, 52, of Cullman will be 11AM, Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at Northbrook Baptist Church. He will lie in state from 10-11AM prior to the service. Visitation will be Tuesday night, June 8, 2021 from 5:30 – 8PM at Northbrook Baptist Church. Rev. Keith Warden and Rev. Bill Ellis will officiate the service. The Interment will be in the Cullman City Cemetery.

Mr. Ray met his Lord and Savior on June 6, 2021 at his residence. He was born June 4, 1969 to Billy Joe & Martha Sue Ray. He was an active member of Northbrook Baptist Church and loved his family. He was a graduate of Vinemont High School and Auburn University. He was a software engineer for Rehau Inc for many years. He enjoyed playing basketball, and his time on the lake waterskiing.
Mr. Ray was preceded in death by his son, Matthew Ryan Ray; grandparents, Randolph & Ruby Ryan, Monroe & Thelma Ray.
He is survived by his parents, Billy Joe and Martha Sue Ray; his wife of 26 years, Julie Ellis Ray; son, Jordan Wesley Ray; daughter, Emma Marie Ray; brothers, Larry (Kelly) Ray, Jeffrey (Angela) Ray; sister, Janice Ray; brother-in-law, Bill (Angela) Ellis; six nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends.
