Gabriella Rose Broglio left the earth on Saturday, June 5, 2021. She was born June 29, 1993, to Ellen and Peter Broglio. Gabriella graduated from McAuley Catholic High School in 2011.
She worked for Powershades in Joplin, MO, where she was soaring. Gabriella was the start-up's fifth employee, and she began as their receptionist. Gabe had just been promoted to territory manager and was even learning to read blueprints. She loved her job and everyone there: they were like family to her.
Gabriella's maternal grandmother, Virginia Long, passed away one week after Gabriella on June 13. Survivors include her daughter Ella, her parents Ellen and Peter, brother Max (Clary), all of Joplin; her maternal aunt Martha Fullerton (Pete) of Kansas City, paternal aunts (uncles) Karen Griglak (Martin) of San Diego, Anne Evers (Robert) of Memphis, and Sandy Smith (Rob) of Seattle, cousins Richard, Virginia, Aaron, Joey, Daryl, and Stevie. She also leaves a slew of very good friends.
Services for family and friends will be held on her birthday, Tuesday, June 29 at 2:00 p.m., at South Joplin Christian Church. Seating is limited. The family will receive friends for visitation from 6-8:00 p.m. Monday at Parker Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Gabriella's name to South Joplin Christian Church or St. Peter's Outreach House, both in care of Parker Mortuary, or to a GoFundMe account set up as her daughter Ella's college fund.
