Ida Mae Dougan's house. She lived at 211 Hickory Street in Neosho, MO. I was in that house a few times back in the early 90s, as I had a friend that lived there. She was a nice girl, and I don't know what to make of something she told me. She showed me that in the closet of her 2nd floor bedroom, there was a window of sorts above the top shelf, but it didn't open onto anything. She said that if we had a flashlight, we could see a uniform and some medals or something in there. I thought it very odd that someone would enshrine things like that in a closet, and I don't know to this day if she made it up or if it was real.
