In her earthly lifetime she worked many jobs, eventually retiring from Lansing School District as the "cookie and salad lady" amongst many other duties.
Mom had many hobbies and interests in her lifetime including painting, gardening, and camping. Above all she enjoyed spending time with her family but most importantly; she loved to spread the love of Jesus.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Stanley and two sons: Jeffrey (Pamela Wager)
and Christopher. Barbara leaves behind her children: Shirley Peters, Gary Peters (Kim) Nancy Zerkle (Bill) Dan (Lisa) Peters and 18 loved and cherished grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all of us.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 8th at the Skinner Funeral Home, Lansing. Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 9th at Holt Baptist in Holt.
