Sister Mary Theresa McFadden, Sister of Notre Dame de Namur, entered eternal life at the University of Massachusetts Hospital, at the age of 90 on May 29, 2021. Sr. Mary is the daughter of the late Anthony and Elizabeth (née Ferry) McFadden, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on August 24, 1930 and is the sister of the late Eugene, Joseph, and James McFadden. She is survived by her loving and supportive nieces and nephews.

Sister entered the Congregation of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur on August 8, 1948 and made her final vows on July 30, 1956.

A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 2 p.m., Friday, June 18, following an hour of sharing of memories at 1 p.m. at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, where Sr. Mary spent many years in ministry. A private burial will take place at the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur's Cemetery at Ilchester, Maryland.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Retirement Fund, Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, P.O. Box 157, Stevenson, MD 21153.
