Bruce C. Parker, 65, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 28, 2021. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., at Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Burial with military honors will be at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.

Born March 30, 1956, Bruce graduated from Sunset High School in Dallas, before serving our nation from 1975 through 1978 as a Spc4 in the U.S. Army. It was during his service that he began driving trucks and other large vehicles, a skill he parlayed into a profession.

He earned his million-mile recognition while working with Fast Food Express and later continued with Central Trucking. He ended his professional life with Midtech Auto Park. From childhood, Bruce was an avid fan of all things Star Trek, NASA, Batman, and auto racing and loved spending time with his dogs.

Bruce was preceded in death by his father, Wilburn Parker; and brothers, Monroe Parker and Patrick Marra.

Survivors include his mother, Sharon Green, of Englewood, Florida; sister, Kathy Magnan, of Baldwinsville, New York; brothers, Philip Marra, of St. Louis, Missouri, and Shawn Marra, of Punta Gorda, Florida; numerous nephews, a niece, great-nephews, and great-nieces; and dear extended family, DeeAnn and Joshua Schmitz.
