Jeffery "Jeff" Smith, age 60, of Maumee, passed away peacefully Friday, June 4, 2021 at St. Luke's Hospital with loving family by his side. He was born on August 24, 1960 to John and Lenilynn (Jacobi) Smith in Toledo. Jeff was employed with Owens Illinois and then later with Sun Chemical for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman, loving to hunt, fish and moral mushroom hunt. Jeff liked sports especially hockey. His smile, spirit and caring nature will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Left to cherish Jeff's memory are his sons, Nick and Michael Smith; parents, John and Lenilynn; sister, Cyndy (Steve) Higgins; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Friday, June 11, 2021 from 5 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – Southwest Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900).
