She graduated from Tri-State Beauty College as a master cosmetologist. She went on to work at Kmart for many years until her retirement. Ruth enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and attending auctions with her husband.
Ruth is survived by her daughters, Sharon Voight (Robert) of Evansville, IN and Teresa Veech (Steve) of Evansville, IN; son, Scott Wright (Melissa) of Frisco, TX; grandchildren, Kari, Brandt, Aaron, Chris, Kristin, Kelli, Kimberly, and Harrison; and ten great-grandchildren.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Don Eugene Wright; her parents; sisters, Marcella Payne and Grace Brose; and brothers, George Waggoner and Charles Waggoner.
