Charles G. Molzahn was born December 28, 1901, near Gladstone, Neb., and departed this life May 15, 1959 in Belleville, Kan.

In 1906 he moved with his parents and brother, Richard to Western, Neb., where they lived for seven years. Early in 1913 they moved to the Ida community in Republic county, Kan., where he grew to manhood.

While still a young man, Charles became a Christian while attending meetings at the Miskell Chapel in the Ida community.

On September 27, 1931, he was united in marriage to Mabel Walker of Belleville, Kan. They established their home on the farm where they were living at the time of his death. His mother preceded him in death 25 years ago.

To this union were born three children, Walter George, Robert Dean and Carolyn Ruth, who are at home.

Charles was a member of the Methodist Church at Munden, Kan.

He is survived by his wife, Mabel; three children, Walter, Robert and Carolyn; his father John F. Molzahn; two brothers, Richard of Lincoln, Neb., and Arthur of Belleville, Kan.; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held at the Munden Methodist Church Monday, May 18, with the Rev. Donald D. O'Hara, officiating. Burial was in the Ida Cemetery.
