Hagerstown - Barbara Jane Freeman, 92, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Fahrney-Keedy in Boonsboro, MD.

Born June 15, 1928 in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Charlotte Marie (Green) and Charles Arthur Gibney, Sr.

Barbara was a graduate of Hagerstown High School and she retired from Chas A. Gibney Florist after 50 years of service. She was a member of Grace Brethren United Methodist Church where she always loved decorating the church and going to Sunday school class.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth Bond (wife, Brenda); two grandchildren, Kenneth "Harley" Bond, and Kelly Bond; four great grandchildren, Hunter, Paislee, Jocelyn, and Tucker; sister, Chadie; three nieces, Cheryl, Becky, and Pam; and one nephew, Eddie.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Nancy Binkley; and one brother, Charles A. Gibney, Jr.

A graveside service will be held 1pm, on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Rose Hill Cemetery, 600 S. Potomac Street, Hagerstown, MD.
