Jimmy Dale Thompson, born July 6th 1943 in Raven, Virginia. He passed away suddenly on May 29th due to natural causes. Jimmy is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Tina M. Thompson (Bunker) and 3 children Luke Thompson of Newark, Scott Thompson (and Bobbi Garverick) of Galion and Jeralyn Thompson (and Scott Pheneger) of Tampa Florida. Jimmy is also survived by several grandchildren and by his brother and sisters Roger (Barb) Thompson of Mansfield, Brenda Patrick of Galion and Barb (Terry) Chartier of Galion.

Jimmy was proceeded in death by his father Cecil Thompson and mother Geraldine (Eaton) Thompson as well as his brother Cecil Jr. Thompson.

Jimmy was retired from Sprint Telephone, was a graduate of Ashland University and had served in the US Army. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion and Amvets as well as a member of the Moose Lodge and several other clubs around Galion. He also enjoyed golfing, playing bridge and spending time with his family.
