William received his bachelor's degree from East Tennessee State and a master's degree from University of Tennessee- Knoxville. He proudly served his country in the US Air Force. He was formerly the Director of Human Resources at Community Hospital. William is survived by his son, Michael (Marion) Curtis.
Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn.
Services for William will be held Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Flanner Buchanan Oaklawn Memorial Gardens at 2:00 PM with visitation there from 1:00 PM. He will be laid to rest at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens following the service.
