Eva May Peterson Howell, 76, died Nov. 4, 2007, in Woodland Hills, California. She was born on May 25, 1931 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Elof Peterson and Eva Jensen. After attending Davis High School, she graduated from the University of Utah and served an LDS mission in Norway.



She married William Robert Howell in Ely, Nevada on April 26, 1959 and later solemnized their marriage in the Los Angeles LDS Temple. Eva May was a devoted member of the LDS faith and gladly served her church even through her physical challenges. Some of Eva May's great loves were books, music, and lifelong learning.


Eva May was preceded in death by her parents, younger brother Kenny, and older sister Eleanore. She is survived by her husband Bill, brother Carl, and three children: Jerry (Charlene), Susan Lombardo (Randy), and Laura Adams (Greg), as well as 12 grandchildren.
Interment will be held at the Bountiful Cemetery on Tuesday, November 13 at 1:00 p.m.
