Bobby Lee Adams, 81, of Gerrardstown, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at City Hospital in Martinsburg, West Virginia.

Born on September 25, 1940 in Gerrardstown, WV, he was the son of the late John Adams and Ivy Mae (Faircloth) Adams.

He was married to the love of his life, Charm Marie "Aunt Peewee" Faircloth on December 5, 1959. She passed away in 2013.

He was one of those people who welcomed everybody to his place and was willing to help others, expecting very little in return.

He is survived by 7 children, Ellen Haase of Martinsburg, Daniel (Glenn Sweitzer) Adams of Martinsburg, Roxanne (Bob) Cunningham of Martinsburg, Roger (Diane) Adams of Gerrardstown, Tony Adams of Martinsburg, Dawn (Randy) Williams of Inwood, and Nancy (Joe) Black of Fairbank, PA;

He was preceded in death by his wife, Charm Faircloth Adams; 2 sons, David Lee (Gaye) and Joseph Lee Adams; 6 grandchildren, Joseph Wayne Harris, Brady Adam Smith, and 4 infant children of Nancy Black; 2 great-grandchildren, Heather Charise Harris and James Austin Harris; 6 siblings, Janet (Vincent) Barrett, Harry (Lucille) Adams Sr., William Adams, Elsie (John) Brown, Eugene (Louise) Adams, Garnett (Ramona) Adams; a brother-in-law Marvin Caton, son-in-laws Kent Haase and Bill Grove; 14 nephews and nieces, a grand-nephew and grand-niece, and many cousins.

He truly touched the hearts of everyone he met and will be missed dearly.

Family will receive friends on Monday, August 29, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.
