Marshall, affectionately known as "Bae Bro" was born March 7, 1967 In Coatopa, Alabama to the union of Louise and the late Marshall Johnson Sr. He departed this earthly life at his home on October 11, 2018.

Marshall, attended and was a graduate of the Waukegan, School system. He confessed hope in Christ at an early age.

In the year of 1990, Marshall was united in marriage to Angela Smith, from this union came three children. Marshall had very strong roots and ties in the community. But like us all, he was mortal with human flaws. In the last years of life he remained happy and so humble. His love for is family was beyond reproach. He loved so dearly from his heart. His "smile" will be dearly missed by all who know him.

Marshall, leaves to cherish a loving mom, Mother Louise Johnson of Waukegan, IL, His loving wife, Angela Johnson of Clarksville, TN, two daughters: Marsha Flowers of Waukegan, IL and LaJonna(Chris)Randolph of Lexington SC, two sons; Marshall D. Johnson Jr. and LaBerris Bennett of Clarksville, TN. Seven precious grandchildren; Mariah, Chris, Laberris Jr, Marshawn, Nazir, Jerry, Messiah; five sisters; Patricia Moore of Cincinnati, OH, Lisa Ramsey of North Chicago, IL Judy Wilson; Gail (Billy) Anderson, and Egypt Johnson all of Waukegan, IL, three brothers; Rev. Larry (Denise) Miller, Mack Miller, and Mark Johnson all of Waukegan, IL, a special brother-in-law/brother, Rayfield Yarbrough of Florence AL. A dear aunt, Mother Julia Carter, one uncle, Joseph (­­­Mattie) Nixs of Waukegan, IL, a dear mother-in-law, Ella Smith; A host of special nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews who were dear to him. and a host of dear cousins and friends.

Marshall, was preceded in death by his father, Marshall Johnson Sr., martial and paternal grandparents, two sisters, Julia Yarbrough and Tasha Johnson and many other relatives.

A Celebration of His Life Service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, October 20, 2018 at the Greater Faith Church Baptist, 565 Powell Avenue, Waukegan, IL. Pastor H. Lee Jordan, Officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park Cemetery, Zion, IL. Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M.
