Born March 25, 1929 in Murray City, OH, daughter of a coal miner, the late Howard (Cora Cook) Craft, just before the stock market crash. Her preteen years were during the Great Depression, followed by WWII in her teens. She grew up sharing and caring for others with limited resources. This shaped her life. She was a waitress and a Liquor Control Agent. However, most of her work was done at home, where she was caretaker and provider for cousins, nieces, nephews, her grand mother-in-law, parents, mother-in-law, children and grandchildren. She had an incredibly BIG Heart. She was a big Cleveland Indians, Browns, and OSU fan. She never missed a game on TV. Her crocs were adorned with pins from these teams. Preceded in death by her parents and her sisters Gyneth Thompson, Ruth Kruger, Donnie Worthington, Tena Ponn, and Becky Prokop. She is survived by her sons, Michael (Carol) and Patrick (Debbie); grandchildren, Jared (Valerie), Myra, Brenda (Ed), Derek (Dawn); great grandchildren, Alex, Caitlyn, CeCe. Honorary Pallbearers, 8 of Murray City's finest: Hoon Dog Brown, Bye Joe Larisky, Sag Jaw Bittner, Chiefy Clendenon, Paddlefoot Mitchell, Goathead Podoski, Oil Can Mary, and Ringtail Coon. Arrangements entrusted to SCHOEDINGER NORTH. Interment at Greenlawn Cemetery in Nelsonville, Ohio on Saturday, June 12 at 11am. Gathering to follow at Stuart's Opera House in Nelsonville, on the square. In lieu of flowers, donate to Ohio Health/Kobacker House.
