Bruce Alan Foster, 81, of Grafton passed away peacefully surrounded by family at his home Wednesday, October 14, 2020.

He was born September 19, 1939 in Elyria and was a 1957 graduate of Elyria High School and Central Technical Institute in Missouri in 1964. After graduating from High School he proudly served his Country in the U.S. Navy. He worked for IBM.

Bruce enjoyed being outdoors, working in his barn, traveling, singing, being with family often attending spring training for the Indians. He was the choir director for over 30 yrs. At Grafton UMC , and director and singer with the Sonshine Chorus.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years Joan (nee Hawke); sons Scott (Ann Marie) of Las Vegas, Craig (April) of Grafton, Chris (Cyndi) of Huron; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Alice Foster (nee Fell); sisters Roberta Yost, Norma Patricia Smith; brothers Robert and Roland "Rick".

Private services for family only will held at LaGrange UMC., where full military honors will be provided by VFW post #1079. Pastor Floyd Costello will officiate ,(per CDC guidelines social distancing will be observed). MASKS ARE REQUIRED.

In lieu of flowers family suggests those who wish may make donations to LaGrange UMC 105 W. Main St. LaGrange, OH. 44050. Or Hospice of the Western Reserve 2173 N. Ridge Rd. Suite H., Lorain, OH. 44055.
