Margie Ann Smith 83, went home to be with the Lord on June 1, 2021. She was born on October 9, 1937 and Edgecomb County North Carolina. She is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years Raleigh Smith, Jr. Margie had a long career as a budget clerk for the United States government for over 30 years. She was preceded in death by her mother Daisy Belle Harrell.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandy Smith; son, Raleigh Smith, III (Leigh); and youngest daughter, Tina Lynch. Grand children, Erik Crawford (Nicole), Justin Crawford ( Tiffany), trevor Crawford, Megan Smith and Myles Smith. Great-grandchildren Erik Jr., Lincoln, Elena,Leittei, Brody, Brylee and Matthew Swanner. Sister-in-law's Ruth Ann Coghill , Brenda Allen , Five brother-in-law's and numerous nieces ,nephews And friends.
