Pooler-Mrs. Carole Winifred Edwards, 85 passed away on Tuesday.

Carole was born July 8, 1935 to the late Alice and Fred Schreiber. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Lee Edwards; brother, Alfred; and son-in-law, Stuart. She lived in Malvern Long Island, NY as a child. At an early age they moved to Lake Stockholm in Stockholm, NJ. That is where she met the love of her life...Lee Edwards. They were married September 17, 1955 in Ridgewood, NJ. Carole and Lee had a summer home in Hawley, PA where they enjoyed boating on Lake Wallenpaupack. After Lee's retirement, they moved there permanently. Over the years Carole had many hats...she was a waitress, hostess, worked at Yardley, business owner, and best of all a domestic goddess and grandmother!

Survivors include her son, Jeffrey (Joanne); and daughter, Laura; four granddaughters; Kasey, Kristen, Sarah and Autumn and three great grandchildren; Ronald, Claire and Mary; brothers, Richard (Brenda) and Thomas (Patricia); several nieces and nephews; and beloved Yorkie, Tessie.

As per Mrs. Edwards request, there will not be any services.
