WENDELL – Michael Lee Prince, 74, passed away on Thursday, June 3rd, 2021. He was born in Wilson County to the late Dewey L. Prince & Ruth Prince.
Michael served his country honorably in the US Army during the Vietnam War and was awarded with an Army Commendation Medal. He worked with the Department of Transportation as a Mechanic for several years; he loved working on cars. Michael will be remembered by many as an honest and giving man.
He is survived by his wife, Edith Wall Prince of the home, daughters, Candice Freeman (William) of Laurinburg, Christy Kay (Butch) of Zebulon, Shannon Russell (Curt) of Wendell, brother, Milton Prince (Sandra) of Belhaven, grandchildren, Ty Kay, Taylor Kay, Lane Deese, Waverly Russell, and his beloved dog, Chloe.
Visitation, 1:30-2:45pm, Tuesday, Clydes Chapel Baptist Church, 16657 Buffalo Rd, Wendell. Funeral service, 3pm, Tuesday, Clydes Chapel Baptist Church.
