Patricia Ann Harper Loftin was born on May 25, 1948 in Shreveport, Louisiana to William Glen Harper and Irma Lee Davis Harper. She passed away peacefully at the age of 73 on Thursday, June 3, 2021 after a lengthy illness.

Pat was a resident of Keithville where she enjoyed gardening, fishing and spending time with her grandchildren and family. She and her husband, Bruce, retired to Nashville, Tennessee where they spent time fishing the many lakes and would travel in their RV. A few of their many vacations included going to Hawaii, Canada and on numerous cruises.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents and her step-mother, Amelia Harper. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 54 years, Lloyd Bruce Loftin; children, Dwayne Loftin and wife, Tina, Tandy Parish and husband, Bubba, Jeremy Loftin and wife, Lisa, James Loftin and wife, Tasha; siblings, Shelby Harper, Shirley Roy, Dianne Farasy and husband, Bill, Lisa Mack and husband, Brian, Ray Hicks and wife, Renee; 12 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Honoring Pat as pallbearers will be her grandsons, Daniel Loftin, Cody Loftin, Nolan Parish, Zachary Loftin, Tanner Loftin and Nicholas Kapulsky-Agnew.

The family would like to express special thanks to Dr. York and the Cancer Treatment Center at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee and Superior Hospice of Shreveport for the excellent care and compassion given to Pat during her illness.

Flowers may be sent to Rose-Neath Funeral Home South, 2500 Southside Drive in Shreveport. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at Grawood Baptist Church, 5841 Colquitt Road, Keithville, Louisiana. A visitation will be held Saturday, June 5, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the church prior to the service. Burial will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery, 4000 Meriwether Road in Shreveport. Officiating the service will be her grandson, Pastor Nicholas Parish.
