Lisa Lynn Cameron, 55, of Smyrna, Ga., died Wednesday, June 2, 2021, from an extended illness. She was born in Jesup and earned a Bachelor's Degree from Georgia Southern University. She worked as a corporate analyst in the Atlanta area and was a kind, energetic and fun-loving spirit. Lisa lit up every room she entered and is now rocking the gates of heaven.
Lisa loved reading and watching Westerns, riding motorcycles, listening to music, and taking care of her beloved cat, Jojo. She fiercely loved her many friends and family members, and brought such joy to all who knew her.
Survivors include her parents, L.W. and Buanell Fennell Cameron DeLoach of Odum and Statesboro; a sister, Angela Wilkins (Martin) of Springfield; a niece, Tessa Farmer (Thomas) of Lynchburg, Va.; two nephews, Patrick Wilkins, of Madison, Wis. and Andrew Wilkins, of Kennesaw; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral service will be 3 PM Monday, June 7, 2021 at Big Creek Primitive Baptist Church, 1600 Big Creek Church Road, Screven, GA 31560 with Elder Jerry Lightsey officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers will be family and friends.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.
Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup is in charge of arrangements.
