Amelia Erin Cobb was called home suddenly by God on May 29th, 2021, while resting in the arms of her mother. She was 26 years old. Amelia was a 2013 graduate of Buffalo High School. She honorably served in the United States Navy for five years as an Aviation Boatswain Handler aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln. Amelia received several meritorious promotions, as well as other forms of recognition. She was currently enrolled at Sentera College of Health Sciences and was pursuing a surgical technician degree. Amelia was looking forward to graduating in May, 2022. She faithfully attended Believers Church in Suffolk, Virginia and was a member of the Praise and Worship Team.

Left to cherish her are her parents, Richard and Carla Cobb; brother, Gabriel and wife Jessica Cobb; nephew, Nicolas David Cobb, whom she adored; fiancé, JustinYoungs. They both expected to spend the rest of their lives together. She was his "heart and soul and would have given her anything." She is also survived by her grandparents, Jimmy and Leda Dunn and Brenda Cobb; aunts and uncles, Jay and April Dunn, Jeff and Heather Miller, Dwayne and Cheryl Cobb, and K.L. and Debbie Tucker; cousins Taylor and Parker Dunn, Ian Dunn, Lilly and Caroline Kirk, Josh and Jake Tucker and their families. Amelia was preceded in death by grandparents, Bob and Palastean Cobb.

Amelia had an impact on so many lives and will be missed by everyone who knew her. Our greatest joy was hearing her sing. She truly had a special gift and God knew we needed her songs to help us endure the pain of living without her. We were so proud of her. Her loving, serving heart, her courage, bravery, and grace made her so special. Forever our Princess.
