John was the son of Arturo Gonzales and Rachel Ortiz and brother of Rebecca.
He was employed by Glazer's Beer and Beverage for over 20 years starting as merchandiser and worked his way up to salesman. John died at a San Antonio hospital as a result of COVID-19 and pneumonia.
Survived by his wife of 31 years, Jo Ann Avalos and their daughter, Sierra.
