Motion Picture Director, Actor, Stuntman. He will be remembered for his association with Clint Eastwood films. His father was a large animal veterinarian at Universal Studios, Wayne learned to ride horses during his youth which proved to be invaluable during his years as a stuntman. Following service with the United States Army, he began his association in television as a stuntman and gained steady work as Guy Williams' stunt double on the series "Zorro" (1957 to 1958). During this period, he found bit acting roles in the films "Destry" (1954), "Escape to Burma" (1955) and "Spartacus" (1960). His friendship with Clint Eastwood began in 1968, when he served as Eastwood's stunt double on the film "Coogan's Bluff." He went on to direct Eastwood in the motion pictures "Any Which Way You Can" (1980), "The Dead Pool" (1988, the fifth installment of the "Dirty Harry" series) and "Pink Cadillac" (1989).
