On June 1, 2021, Tammy Moon passed away at home surrounded by her loving family of Covid-19 related illness.
Tammy was born January 21, 1963, in Wichita Falls, TX, where her father was serving his country in the United States Air Force.
She graduated from Anderson High School, Class of 1981. Tammy earned a nursing degree later in life and had worked as an L.P.N. for a few years before being diagnosed with MS.
After retiring, she was able to spend time with her family and doggies.
She is survived by her husband of over 38 years, Jim Moon; children, Holly Mitchell and Jason (Ashleigh) Moon; 2 granddaughters, Moira and Isola; mother, Linda Waggoner; sister, Trina Knight; brother, Keith (Adrianne) Waggoner; sister's-in-law, Nancy (David) Zech, Keli (Bruce) Jones, and Jane (Kevin) Myers; several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles; and special childhood friend, Karla Sowders.
Tammy was preceded in death by her father, Chuck Waggoner; grandparents, Milburn Hurn, Elsie Hurn, Lloyd Waggoner, Jo Waggoner; father's-in-law, Kenneth Moon, and David Myers; and mother-in-law, Vina Myers.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of Tammy's special friends for their support during her illness.
Visitation will be held at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd Street, Anderson, IN, 46013, on Saturday, June 5, 2021, from 12:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m.
Services will be at the funeral home on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Keith Waggoner officiating.
Cremation will take place at a later date.
