Going to the Cape was something Jackie never grew tired of; the beauty of the Crystal Coast was a sight she always cherished. Jackie loved celebrating holidays, Christmas of course being her favorite. Part of her love of holidays was for the simple fact that those were family times, and nothing meant more to her than being with her loved ones, those were her happy times in life. Jackie adored her husband of 40 years, Darrell, who she joyfully referred to as her "eyeballs".
She is survived by her husband Darrell Willis of the home; sons, Michael Taylor and fiancé Samantha Bennett of Harkers Island, Jeremy Willis and wife Diana of Havelock; sister, Cindy Baum and husband Christopher of Harkers Island; grandchildren, Mikey, Nate, Aiden, Aden, Chase, Easton, and Karlee; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at Harkers Island United Methodist Church.
As an expression of sympathy, flowers are welcome or memorial contributions may be made to Harkers Island United Methodist Church at 603 Cape Lookout Dr., Harkers Island, NC 28531.
