While backpacking in Vietnam in 2000 I found a dogtag with this soldiers name. I am trying to return it to any surviving family. Anyone with ANY info please contact me by email. Thank you so much, Stacey Hansen.

I am his Daughter: Did you know my Father? I am trying to learn about my Father. If you knew him please contact me. I have a Son and I want him to know his Grandfather. Thank you. Mindy Meacham-Berry, Tallahassee, FL.

Callsign: "Covey" FAC Richard Meacham: Friend and Fraternity brother. Lanier Porter, [email protected].

During the Summer of 1969, I visited my older brother when he was stationed at Seymour Johnson AFB in Goldsboro, NC. As a 20 year old college student I felt like a bigshot playing golf with him and 2 of his buddies and fellow AF Captains. When I returned for a visit in the Summer of 1970, I asked if we were going to play golf with Rick Meacham again. He told me Rick had been shot down and killed several weeks earlier. The words seemed too cruel to be true, but they were. Rick's sacrifice, and those of thousands like him, will long be remembered. Richard G. Mannion.
