LANCASTER, S.C. Mr. David Harper age 83 died Sunday May 30, 2021 at MUSC Lancaster.
The Funeral Services are 3 P.M. Thursday June 3, 2021 Graveside at Saint Luke United Methodist Church
with burial in the church cemetery by Rev. Perry Evatt, Visitation with family will follow the graveside service.
Mr. Harper was born May 1, 1938 in Lancaster County a son of J. Clyde Harper and Kathleen Marshall Harper, and married to the late Betty Snipes Harper. Mr. Harper was a member of Saint Luke United Methodist Church, and retired from Estell Tool and Die in Matthews, and then started a Tire Store.
David is survived by 2 Brothers Wayne Harper and wife Betty Jean Harper, Michael Harper, 5 Sisters Janice Harper Shute and husband Randy Shute, Kathy Harper Bennett and husband Danny, Sandra Harper Roof and husband Charles, Cordelia Harper Lucas, and Aurelia Harper Catoe, and husband Gator Catoe. Several Step-Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
David was Preceded in death by 1 brother Larry Harper and 2 Step-Daughters Linda Dukes, and Patty Baker.
