Anna Bullard Howard Anna Bullard Howard, 94, entered peacefully into rest on June 2, 2021. She was born December 26, 1926, in Thomas County, Georgia, to Charles E. and Hattie Ward Bullard. She grew up in Boston, Georgia, and graduated from Boston High School in 1945. She married Thomas Howard in 1951 and they were married until his death in 2011. She retired from the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles in 1988, after 34 years of service. She loved her job, and she loved people. She enjoyed traveling, visiting with family and friends, doing crossword puzzles, and watching TV. She was a member of Thomasville Road Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Tom; her parents; and her 7 siblings. She is survived by one daughter, Janet Howard Keels; three grandchildren, Tom Keels and wife Brandi, Ashlie Keels Carver, and Blair Keels; and her great-grandchildren, Kalianna Keels, Jackson Keels, Lacey Keels, Cierra Carver, Haylie Carver, and Briana Inman; one sister-in-law, Grace Spiller of Dowling Park; and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. Michael Forsthoefel and staff for the wonderful care given over the years, and the staff of Big Bend Hospice. Services will be held at Beggs Funeral Home, 3322 Apalachee Parkway, on Monday, June 7, 2021, 11:00 a.m., with visitation starting one hour before the service. Graveside services will be held at Meadowood Memorial Park, 700 Timberlane Rd. following the service.
