Warren Leon Ray, 70, died Saturday, September 30, 2006, at Rosewood Care Center in Alton, IL. Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. today at First Pentecostal Church in Jackson, MS, with visitation starting at 9:30 a.m. with burial in the Lakewood Memorial Park on Clinton Blvd. Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon is handling the arrangements.

Mr. Ray was born December 08, 1935, in Winston County, MS, to S.B. and May Warren Ray. He was a skill trade mechanic for General Motors/Delphi Automotive, Clinton, MS, for 26 years, retiring in 2002. Mr. Ray was a member of the United Pentecostal Church in Wood River, IL and a former member of the First Pentecostal Church in Jackson, MS.

Survivors include: his wife of 48 years, Mary King Ray. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his mother, Mrs. May Ray of Horn Lake, MS; one daughter, Theresa Ray Toenyes and her husband Tim of Godfrey, IL; one granddaughter, Marleigh Toenyes, who was the light of his life; two sisters, Sandra Tuneburg of Horn Lake and Barbara McElvain of Mansfield, OH and one brother, Dwayne Ray of Austin, TX.

Preceded in death by his daughter, Brenda June Ray.
