Ronald D. " Ron" Hansing, age 71, of Lake Marian/Carpentersville passed away on Sunday May 30, 2021 at Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village. Ron was born on August 16, 1949 in Woodstock and was the son of the late Robert & Beulah (nee Habbley) Hansing. Ron was a lifelong resident of the area and a member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in East Dundee. He was an electrician by trade. Ron was the Assistant Business Agent and Training Director for IBEW Union Local 117. Survivors include his wife of 50 years; Susan L. " Sue " nee Bonkoski and their two sons; Cary and Kevin ( Amanda) Hansing. Other survivors include his brother; Kenneth (Tammy) Hansing, his sister-in-law; Deb Hansing as well as his nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his brother; Steven. Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. on Friday, June 4, 2021 at Miller Funeral Home, West Dundee. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday morning at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Phillip Baerwolf, officiating. Burial will follow at McHenry County Memorial Park Cemetery in Woodstock. In lieu of flowers. Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church, East Dundee.
