HURRICANE — Nina Lee Hamrick Floyd 92, of Hurricane went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 13, 2010, after a long full life.
She was retired from F.W. Woolworth Dept. Store and the Upshur County Schools. She was a member of the Kanawha County Doll Club, with some of her handmade dolls being on display at the Smithsonian and other venues.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry L. Floyd, and son, Gary.
Surviving are son, Larry L. Floyd and wife Judith of Hurricane; grandchildren, Jerry L. Floyd and wife Karen of Acworth, GA, Terry L. Floyd of Charlotte, NC, Ret. 1st Sgt. Neil L. Floyd and his wife Sharon of Killeen, TX, and Scott L. Floyd of Hurricane; great-grandchildren, Dustyn, Jarrod, Celia Rose, Reagan and Jake, all of Acworth, GA, and Cary L. of Lexington, NC; great-great granddaughter, Parker of Acworth GA; and sisters, Sara Keffer of Fla. and Margaret Cox of Clarksburg.
Graveside Funeral Service will be Tuesday 11:30 a.m. at the Upshur County Memorial Park, Buckhannon WV.
