Mrs. Carolyn Juanita Allen, age 67, of Summerville, GA, died Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at Redmond Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Allen was born October 31, 1953, in Trion, GA, daughter of the late Jessie Gilmer and Maude Davis Hines. She was a homemaker and a loving mother and grandmother.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Allen, Sr.; children, Linda Gail Lee, Mary Lee McClellan, William Matt Lee, Norma Winters; sisters and sisters-in-law, Shirley Logan, Gaynelle Thorton, Doris Maxey, and Elsie Bell; grandchildren, Thomas Vine, Cheyenne Vine, and Sierra Childs; great-grandchild, Avery Vine.

Funeral services for Mrs. Allen will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, June 3, 2021, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sanford DeBerry and Rev. Billy Wright officiating. Interment will follow in Johnson Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Thomas Vine, Taylor Wilson, Matt Lee, and Cheyenne Vine.

Mrs. Allen will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday.

The Allen family, along with the staff of Mason Funeral Home remind anyone in attendance to keep in mind the current guidelines and restrictions for the COVID pandemic set forth by the C.D.C. as it pertains to social gatherings limitations including social distancing, gathering limits, and face masks.
