Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 3, 2021 at the Apostolic Pentecostal Church of Crowley for Jim Wade Young, 57, who died at 10:19 p.m. Monday, May 31, 2021 at his residence in Egan, LA.
Pastor Karl Stoute and Rev. Robert Morales will conduct the funeral services. Visitation may be observed Thursday, June 3, 2021 at the Apostolic Pentecostal Church from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. The burial will follow in the Bluff Cemetery in Evangeline, LA.
Wade is survived by his wife, Maria Brown Young of Egan, LA; 2 daughters, Bethany Young Comeaux and her husband Steve of Egan, LA and Alisha Lambousy and her husband, Matthew of Estherwood, LA; 1 son, Jonathan Young and his husband, Casey of Egan, LA; 2 sisters, Connie Young Simon of Crowley, LA and Sonya Shuman of Mermentau, LA; 1 brother, Darrell Young of Crowley, LA; 6 grandchildren, Ethan, Rylee, Brooke and Ramsey Comeaux, Aliyah Stakes and Avery Lambousy.
He was preceded in death by his parents John and Mary Schexnayder Young.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Young, Casey Young, Devin Simon, Steve Comeaux, Zachary Mire, D.J. Meche and Ethan Comeaux.
