Larry Lee Hammond, 84 of Findlay passed away on Saturday, May 29, 2021. He was born on May 24, 1937 in Arlington to the late Erple E. and Margaret L. (Howard) Hammond. Larry married Darlene K. Meyer on May 17, 1959 and she survives. Larry is also survived by his son, Mark L. Hammond of Findlay, three grandchildren, Ryan, Mark and Mary Hammond of Chicagoland, and one sister, Patricia J. Bunge of Findlay. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Holly Kay Rath. He was a 1955 graduate of Findlay High School and worked for Parker Lumber Company. An excellent wood craftsman and cabinet maker, he built furniture for the Ohio Farm House, which he and Darlene owned for 35 years. Larry enjoyed hunting for artifacts and was a member of the Ohio Archeological Society. He was also a member of the American Legion. A graveside service for Larry will begin at 2:00 pm on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Arlington Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME.
