Mrs. Penny Kay Cook Wilson, age 56, of Zebulon, passed away May 30, 2021. She grew up in Pike County. Penny was a hairdresser at The WH Salon in Griffin. She enjoyed the beach. She was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother, always putting others first. She had an infectious smile that could light up the room, and a laugh that would bring joy to your heart.

She was preceded in death by her father, Calvin Cook and her step-fathers, Astor Riggins and Jim Boswell.

She is survived by her husband: Tony Wilson; sons and daughters-in-law: Nathan and Shelby Wilson of Concord and Zac and Shelby Wilson of CO; she was G-Mom to four grandchildren: Leo and Callie Wilson and Skylar and Brooklyn Wilson; mother: Mary Jo Boswell of Zebulon; brother and sister-in-law: Randy and Regina Cook of Molena; sister and brother-in-law: Kathy and Dave King of PA; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Harvey and Kim Wilson of Griffin; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Friends may visit the family on Thursday, June 3, 1-3 p.m., at the funeral home. Funeral services will follow 3 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home with Rev. John Wilson officiating.
