Jackie is survived by her sons, George Leonard "Lenny" (Theresa "Terri") Duncan, Jr. of Kilbourne, Ricky Duncan Sr. of Qulin, Missouri, Gary (Marsha) Duncan of Collinsville, Illinois, and Sally (Darren) Kammer of Dallas, Texas; daughters-in-law Kathy Duncan of Wentzville, Missouri and Rita Collins of Valley Park, Missouri; grandchildren Chris (Amanda Hoover) Duncan of Chandlerville, Illinois, Charles "Chuck" (Amber) Duncan of Collinsville, Illinois, JoLynn Kolves of Havana, Illinois, Jessica Duncan of Springfield, Missouri, Krystal Duncan of Collinsville, Illinois, Ricky (Crystal) Duncan Jr. of Qulin, Missouri, Jeff Duncan Jr. of Wentzville, Missouri, and Kevin Duncan of Wentzville, Missouri, 12 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her long-time partner, Lloyd Clark of Ferguson, Missouri; brothers, Fred Fields of Granite City, Illinois and James Fields of Colorado; sister, Jean Hurst of St. Louis, Missouri; and sons Jeff Duncan Sr. of Wentzville, Missouri and Joe Collins of Valley Park, Missouri.
Jackie retired in 1995 as the owner of The Village Peddler gift shop in Ferguson, Missouri. She survived the Joplin, Missouri tornado after being trapped under rubble at St. John's Regional Medical Center while recovering from surgery, and also recovered from Covid-19 during the pandemic. She loved bingo and was a talented artist.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Stone Chapel in Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Louis. Burial will be held immediately following the service.
