Clara Bell Wells, 46. of Hackensack, will be held this afternoon with the Rev. George F. Collard of Christ Episcopal Church officiating. Interment of Mrs. Wells, who died at her home Friday night after an illness of a year and a half, will take place in Hackensack Cemetery. Members or the Auxiliary of the American Legion and Spanish War Veterans, in which Mrs. Wells was active, will participate In this afternoon's service. Mrs. Wells was born in Hasbrouck Heights and moved to Hackensack when a child. She married Chester A. Wells in 1916. Her husband Is director of the Bergen County Welfare Board and is active in Legion activities, having served in various offices among them the vice-command- ership of the State Legion, State serv ice office, and captaincy of the County group. , The Wells have lived at 368 Lookout Avenue for quite a time and are both well-known in Hackensack. Mrs. Wells was a member of Grace Episcopal Church. Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth L.. and Mrs. Florence Graynor of Montvale; two sisters, Mrs. Florence O. Harrington of Greenwich, Conn., and Mrs. A. S. Michael of Flatbush, L. I., and one brother, Frank Olmstead of Miami, Fla.
