Dorothy LaJean Davidson of Plano, Texas passed away on May 28, 2021at the age of 91. She was born on May 2, 1930 to Les and Lucille (Stafford) Hanna in Godley, Texas. Dorothy grew up in McKinney. She married Mr. Shirley Davidson on May 2, 1947. Shirley and Dorothy Davidson moved to Plano in the late 1950's where they raised their family. Dorothy worked as a bookkeeper for many years. She loved to garden, planting roses. Dorothy dearly loved her home on Greenbriar Lane in Plano where she lived for 48 years. She was a member of Meadows Baptist Church for many years.
She is survived by her children, Judy Davidson of Euless, Texas, Kevin Davidson and wife, Kathy of Plano, Texas, Sherri Reagan and husband, Larry of McKinney, Texas, and Rob Davidson and wife, Christy of Tennessee; grandchildren, Kyeli Smith, Tony Lorino, Daniel Davidson, Jacob Davidson, Aaron Reagan, Lauren Reagan, Timothy Davidson, Joshua Davidson, and Heather Davidson; great-grandson, Dru Smith; sister, Helen Head, Patricia Campbell, and Kathleen Elfrink; brother, Jimmy Hanna; and numerous other loving family and friends.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Shirley Ray Davidson; brothers, Preston Hanna and Bobby Hanna; and daughter, Karen Elaine Davidson.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Wilson Chapel Cemetery in Lowry, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
