William was the son of James Henry and Dorothy Heath Mills

In addtion to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters: Macey Evans (Herbert) and Vivian Lucille Mills; brothers: Lawrence Mills and Louie Mills; brothers-in-law: Herbert Evans, Paul Shaeffer and Hobert Leach.

He is survived by his daughter, Vivian (John) Treece; sons: Jimmy Mills and Scott (Missy) Mills; grandchildren: Chris Mills (Dakota), Greg Treece (Ashley), Jesse Cox, Joseph Cox, Megan Hatfield, Dalton Mills (Kaylee), Dawson Mills, (Brooke) and Jackson Hickman; great grandchildren: Haylee, Chayce, and Ryder Mills, Damien Samples, Ethan, Makinley and Trey Treece, Dahlia Cox and Arabella Brown; sisters: Jane Shaeffer, Ada Leach and Mary England (Hobart) (TN); brothers: John Mills (OH) and Clyde Mills (KY); special niece and nephew, Karen and Bill Bruns of Indiana.

He was a true blue Kentucky Fan. He loved his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He enjoyed watching the young ones playing ball, hunting Easter eggs or whatever they were doing at the time. Our Family wants to thank all those at Tri State who took great care of him and loved him. I know he loved all of you.
