Ronnie "Steve" Melton, 74, of Bryant, Arkansas passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 29, 2021. He was born November 22, 1946 in Beech Grove, Arkansas to J.C. "Bill" and Berta Bratton Melton.

Steve enjoyed spending time with his family, camping, fishing, boating, hunting and all genres of music. He was interested in both recent and ancient history. Steve was of the Christian faith.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jerry; daughter, Ronda "Sissy" EzzEldin; grandson, Tanner Melton.

Survivors: wife of forty-four years, Barbara; children, Renee Tackett (Robert), Brad Melton (Renee), Jason Burke (Brandy); son-in-law, Ahmed EzzEldin; grandchildren, Santana McGraw, Laikin Davis, Danielle Melton, Ryan Burke, Kyler Burke, Strody Melton, Enki Melton, Deacon Melton; great-grandchildren, Brayden Welborn and Jade Griffis; and a host of other family members and friends.

Per Steve's wishes, he will be cremated with no funeral service.

The family would like to thank the staff at Baptist Medical Center, Baptist Hospice and Dr. Jason Holder for the care he received in his last days and Dr. Michael Beard and his staff that provided care for him over the last twenty-years.
