THE PARIS NEWS, Aug. 21, 2007: “Lula Estelle Love, 83, of Roxton passed away Sunday, Aug. 19, 2007, in Paris Regional Medical Center. Funeral services are set for 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 22, in Roxton First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Richard Gilmer officiating. Burial follows in Restland Cemetery in Roxton under the direction of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home. The family receives friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home. She was born Jan. 29, 1924, in Nelta, a daughter of A. V. and Lula Wilhite. She was a member of Roxton First United Methodist Church and was a mother, housewife and grandmother. She married Polk Carroll Love on Dec. 22, 1941, in Antlers, Okla. She was preceded in death by her husband; and a son, Robert Carroll Love. She is survived by two children, Delbert H. Love and wife, Virginia, of Arlington, and Sharron Lively and husband, Larry, of Whitney; daughter-in-law, Margie Love of Roxton; grandchildren, Cole and Chris Love of Roxton, Kelley Waller and husband, Artie, of Abilene, Jim Ed Love and wife, Lori, of Arlington, Andie Gardner and husband, Eddie, of Mansfield, Autumn Thomas and husband, J. T.; six great-grandchildren; sister, Dolly Chapman of Princeton; and niece, Pat Chapman of Princeton. Her grandsons and grandsons-in-law serving as pallbearers include Cole Love, Chris Love, Jim Ed Love, Ed Gardner, J. T. Thomas and Artie Waller.
