Sammy K. Moore, age 71 of Dunn died Sunday, May 23, 2021 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton. N.C.

Sammy was born September 9, 1949 in Harnett County the son of the late William Henry Moore and Doris Mae Coats Moore and is preceded in death by his wife, Annie Holland Moore. Sammy was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War, he was retired from Burlington Industries with 35 years of service as a mechanic. Sammy was known to be a quiet man that was humble and soft spoken. After he retired he spent a lot of time fishing, he enjoyed going to local ponds in the area.

A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Cromartie Miller Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow in the Devotional Gardens Cemetery with military honors.

He is survived by: Sister: Priscilla Ann McKenzie & (Friend) J.R. Barefoot of Benson, NC.

Brothers: Timothy Moore & (Friend) Wendy Langdon of Four Oaks, NC; and Ronnie Moore of Godwin, NC.

5 Nieces and Nephews and many Great Nieces and Nephews The family will be receiving friends Tuesday Evening, May 25, 2021 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Cromartie Miller Funeral Home in Dunn, NC.
