He was a son of Tom Lewis Gordon, Sr. and Della Usher Gordon. He was retired from the textile industry and a U.S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Barbara Ann Greene Gordon; and sister, Joan High. He is survived by his two sons, Gregory Gordon and his wife, Anna of Columbia, SC, and Mark Gordon and his friend, Melissa Miller of Camden, SC; grandchildren, Erica Gordon and Ryan Hunter Gordon; and three sisters, Nancy Shute and her husband, Ray, Paulette Ellis, and Sue Knight and her husband, Jerry - all of Lancaster, SC.
