He accepted God as his Lord and Savior at a very young age and continued to serve God until he became ill. He loved serving the God and assisting the church with anything that he could do for the Lord. He believed in honoring the Lords Will until his last breath.
He graduated from Lee High School in Mariana, Arkansas. He went on to serve for the United Stated Army, where he worked in the medical infantry and played football. This led him to love to serve and protect which led to working as an Armed Security Guard for the Social Security Administration Office in West Memphis Arkansas for 15 years. He was well known for his helpfulness and kindness to others.
Herbert was a faithful Member of Stewart Temple Church in West Memphis. Where he loved to spend his free time helping in any areas that he could.
Hebert B Harris Jr left this world on angel's wings on Tuesday, September 22, 2020. His devotion to his family and his firm belief in the Lord supported him in his struggles and ultimately gave him peace.
He is survived by his beloved daughter Osheia Harris, which whom he adored very much. He is survived by sisters Gloria Harris and Peggy Harris of Marianna and brothers Michael Harris of Marianna, Gary Harris and Billy Harris of Little Rock. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, with special nephews Rodrick and Terrence Harris. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Edward and Larry Redder.
